Bold Styling and Portable Power

An aggressive design houses two full-range speakers with separate tweeters and a ported subwoofer, for 20 watts of powerful sound.

Form and Function
The first thing anyone would notice when looking at this boombox from Sony is its radical design, with a bold black, red, and silver color scheme and styling that might befit a spaceship more than a boombox. Of course it all has a purpose, housing two 4-inch drivers, each with its own 0.8-inch tweeter. Taking up the low end is a 5-inch subwoofer, which pumps bass through the reflex ports on the bottom, for some serious, thumping low end.

Audio Input
Connect iPods, other MP3 players, or pretty much any audio device using the stereo mini (3.5-mm) input.

Cassettes, CDs, and MP3s
The CFD-G700CP will play your cassette tapes, your CD and CD-R/RW discs, and better yet, it lets you play back burned CD-R/RW discs full of MP3s, for hours of music on a single disc.

Digital AM/FM Stereo Tuner
Provides accurate, drift-free tuning of AM and FM radio stations, with 20 FM and 10 AM presets to instantly pull up your faves.

20-Watt Output
Twenty watts is more than enough power to fill most rooms with sound. Five preset sound modes let you dial in the EQ curve: choose from Rock, Dance, Reggaeton, Salsa, and Flat.

Remote Included
